My Story
Hello! Thanks for stopping by! My name is Sarah and I live in beautiful Oregon. I am married and have a 9 year old daughter. My daughter was born with congenital brain malformations, the primary being Holoprosencephaly (HPE or HoPE). She was given only a 3% chance to survive delivery, and a 1% chance to survive 6 months of age. She is a fiery red head with so much personality! She’s completely dependent but expressive, social, and so full of wisdom and light. She truly is a miracle and I am honored God chose me to be her Momma.
I am also an RN since 2000. Current specialty is Hospice since 2005.
Part of my reasoning for joining Scentsy is I love the products so much (I’ve literally been using them for years), but to also bring awareness to Holoprosencephaly (HoPE) and to those who are differently abled. Disability and being nonverbal does not mean inability and incompetence.
My mottos are: Choose Kindness and Find Joy in Your Journey.
My favorite verse: “We have this Hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure” - Hebrews 6:19.
